Write an essay between 500 and 750 words based on the following essay prompt:

At HoustonMovers.com, we love telling people what an amazing city Houston is, with its cosmopolitan population that speaks more than 145 languages and its lively sports, culture, and restaurant scenes. Tell us about your hometown. What makes it unique, and why do you love living there?

We award one $500 scholarship each year.

 

Requirements

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must...
 

• be a graduating high school senior or an undergraduate student in the United States (open to international students)

• have maintained a cumulative GPA above 3.0 over the previous school year

• provide permission to publish your essay on the HoustonMovers.com blog

• apply by noon (US Eastern time) on September 1, 2020
